Hayward Allies With Cepex, Spanish Plastic Valve Firm
In the initial phase of the agreement, Hayward will market the Cepex brand of industrial flow control products on an exclusive basis to industrial wholesalers and distributors in the United States and Canada. “Cepex by Hayward” will be a separate organization within the Flow Control Systems division of Hayward.
Wholesalers and distributors will be supplied with Cepex products from Hayward's facility in Clemmons, N.C., along with engineering, application and technical support.
Joe Aquilino, vice president and general manager of Hayward Flow Control Systems, said that this agreement “has the potential to substantially expand both Hayward's and Cepex's global market reach by making the companies' products more readily available to customers around the world.”
Cepex is a European manufacturer of PVC and CPVC plastic valves and accessories for the commercial and industrial marketplaces. The company was founded in 1982 and has been marketing in North America since 2000. Hayward was founded in 1923, and produces thermoplastic valves, filtration/separation systems and fluid handling equipment.
