Dornbracht USA has introduced the “Dornbracht Studio of Excellence,” or DSE, which will identify about 30 select top-selling dealers in a new three-tiered organizational concept.

Qualifying as a DSE dealer will involve the fulfillment of sales goals and quotas and participation in training programs and other activities. A DSE dealer will be required to carry merchandise from all three categories of Dornbracht products: faucets and fittings for the bath; the Interiors Collection, which includes furniture and storage; and bath fixtures manufactured by Dornbracht for Villeroy & Boch. DSE dealers will receive training, incentives and possibly trips to Germany to visit the factory.

The goals of the DSE are to increase overall profitability, decrease inventory in the market and create a standardized product pricing system in the United States.

A second tier will consist of about 200 “Authorized Dealers” and the third tier will be “Affiliated Dealers.”

In related news, Dornbracht USA is implementing a new software program to assist its internal sales and marketing teams. It will provide access to a database of both residential and commercial customers. This resource will also be available to DSE dealers.
