The Young Executives Division of ASA is perhaps a misnomer in this day and age, since the group welcomes participants of all ages. The Division's mission is to bring wholesaler and manufacturer executives together for education and productive networking in a variety of settings that sometimes also includes exciting recreation.

The Young Executives' Winter Forum was held February 19-21 at the Beaver Run Resort in Breckenridge, CO. Brad Zarbock of Familian Northwest/Ferguson, was the featured speaker, taking the 20 attendees through an examination of the best-selling business book, "From Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap...And Others Don't," by Jim Collins.

The next outing of the Young Executives is scheduled for Spring 2004, and will include a dynamic educational program, along with a golf outing. Dates were expected to be announced during the ASA Convention in Las Vegas.

The YE group also offers featured sessions during the ASA Convention, including a reception designed to welcome its members and those industry execs who are curious about joining or participating. Likewise, another session of the popular "Meet the Pros" workshop format was held in Las Vegas, with no fewer than six "Pros" on hand to share their knowledge on everything from training best practices to maximizing showroom sales.
