Representatives of Delta Faucet Co. and Meyers Real Estate Information, Inc. will discuss what's going on in and what's ahead for, the plumbing and mechanical new construction industry at the next meeting March 10-12, 2004, at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco.

A representative of Delta Faucet Co. will open the meeting with a seminar on the “State of the Industry Through a Manufacturer's Eye.” Then, Tim Sullivan of Meyers Real Estate Information, Inc., will give his perspectives of the national and regional housing market, as well as “hot topics” identified by Construction Contractors' Alliance (CCA) members. National builder consolidation, the changing relationships between contractors and builders and negotiating with builders will all be covered.

Also, Tim Ross, a tax expert from management consultant Clifton Gunderson, will discuss how research and experimentation tax credit studies can produce significant tax and cash flow benefits.

The meeting also will feature a “Contractor Spotlight” presentation on a member company and contractor “hot topic” roundtables on recruiting and retaining employees, quality control programs and policies and health insurance.
