Trane announced it will offer a leak-tight warranty on its complete line of HCFC-123 centrifugal chillers. Under the warranty, the chillers will emit 0.5% or less of HCFC-123 refrigerant annually or Trane will replace the refrigerant for free. It starts in September and will be provided at no cost. It covers the first five years for all chillers or, if the customer has a service contract, for the life of the machine.
