Symmons
Kevin V. Symmons, president/chief operating officer of Symmons Industries, will retire effective Jan. 4, after nearly 35 years of managing the company. He is the son of Tom Symmons, the company's co-founder.
Symmons has spent most of his life involved in the company's operations. He was named first vice president/manufacturing in 1982 and in the mid-1980s was promoted to executive vice president/general manager. Symmons became president of the company in February 1995. He will continue to consult with the company and remain on the board of directors.
The company manufactures commercial and residential plumbing products including tub/shower systems, faucets, water temperature control valves and other plumbing specialities.
