In the wake of the devastating flooding that swept through Kerr County over the July 4th holiday weekend, Navien, in partnership with their Texas area sales representative, Champions Marketing, has donated $50,000 to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund through The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. The contribution will directly support local recovery and rebuilding efforts for the residents, small businesses and infrastructure affected by the disaster.

During the flooding, central Texas, particularly Kerr County, located north of San Antonio, was hit hard by torrential rainfall and the overflow of the Guadalupe River. As of July 10, 2025, the storm had resulted in at least 96 confirmed deaths, including 36 children, with more than 160 individuals still reported missing. The federal government declared a state of emergency, and the region faces a long road to recovery.

“We’ve seen an incredible outpouring of generosity in the days since the flood, and we so appreciate that spirit of giving,” said Austin Dickson, CEO of the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. “Recovery doesn’t happen quickly, and for many, the path forward feels uncertain. That’s why sustained collaboration and commitment are so important. We are proud to work alongside so many local partners to ensure help reaches individuals, families and small businesses, not just today, but in the months to come.”

Navien’s COO, Darren Sheehan, and Navien’s local Sales Rep President, Hunter Gordon, visited the local office of the Community Foundation of Texas Hill Country to present the cash donation. In addition to the financial contribution, Navien also plans to donate high-efficiency water heaters to aid in community rehabilitation and housing recovery efforts.
