Winsupply has acquired R.A. Novia & Associates (R.A. Novia). R.A. Novia—operating one location in Cheshire, Connecticut—is a provider of HVAC equipment and solutions from over 20 major HVAC manufacturers. It has served customers in the New England region of Connecticut and Western Massachusetts since 1984.

Led by owner Dick Novia, the firm first began as a teaching classroom for users of a single manufacturer’s HVAC equipment. R.A. Novia now represents over 20 brands.

Novia & Associates in Connecticut complements our existing footprint in this region of the country as we continue to expand our HVAC presence in the market,” said Jeff Dice, President, Winsupply Inc. “The company also shares in Winsupply’s culture of customer service and desire to always learn and grow alongside their customers as the market changes.”

R.A. Novia has a total of nine employees. It is located at 355 Highland Ave, Suite 102, Cheshire, CT 06410. R.A. Novia will do business as Winsupply Cheshire CT Co. Dick Novia will continue to lead the company.

R.A. Novia & Associates has emphasized green technology, including ClimateMaster geothermal heat pumps; LG variable refrigerant systems; NuClimate chilled beams; and radiant heating and cooling ceilings, according to its website.

“Service and immediate attention to customer needs have set us apart from other reps and are the primary reasons for the growth of the company,” Novia said.

This is Winsupply’s third acquisition of this year. Earlier this year, Winsupply closed on the acquisition of Kansas-based Industrial Sales Co. and Florida-based United Lighting & Supply Co.

These acquisitions support the company’s decades-long growth strategy, which also includes starting new Winsupply Local Companies. Since the beginning of 2024, Winsupply has added over 20 new Local Companies to its roster. The most recent new companies are located in Texas: Winsupply Midlothian TX and Georgia: McDonough Winair.
