Supplyindustrycareers.com is a website created by ASA and targeted at job seekers to provide information about the variety of exciting and prosperous opportunities that exist within the industry. Project Talent conducts social media and email marketing campaigns to drive potential candidates to this site that receives about 4,000 visitors a month.

One key benefit of this website for ASA members is an interactive map where job seekers can look for opportunities in the U.S. locations of their choice.

ASA members have had the ability to indicate in their ASA.net member profile if they are actively hiring. Job seekers see a “Now Hiring” icon listed next to the companies that have activated this when searching for opportunities in the cities and states of their choice. To date, 71 member companies have activated this representing over 2,800 individual locations across the country.

ASA members now can include more information to give prospective employees a bigger picture of the opportunities that may exist. This information includes:

1. Has Available Jobs – by choosing “Yes” a “Now Hiring” icon will be displayed.
2. Website or Careers Page URL – members can enter either their home page URL or careers page URL so job seekers can link directly to your site from the map.
3. Has Internship Program – by choosing “Yes” an “Internship Opportunities” icon will be displayed
4. Social Media Accounts – members can enter their account links to various social media platforms. These will also appear on the map so job seekers can view your social media activity

“Because prospective employees have become more diligent in researching companies and opportunities, making this information easily accessible improves the odds of connecting a job seeker with an ASA member,” according to Steve Edwards, ASA’s director of recruitment marketing.

There are two ways for ASA members to provide this information, so it is displayed on the supplyindustrycareers.com map.

1. Members can enter this information in their ASA.net member profile in the “Careers” section of the profile.
2. Members who don’t have access to their company’s member profile can also enter this information on the Recruiter Toolbox on ASA.net. A valid ASA login is required.
