ASA Chief Economist Dr. Chris Kuehl is back for his February PHCP-PVF economic update webinar presented by LIXIL.This time, Kuehl has five possibly permanent economic changes to talk about.
From Dr. Kuehl: “It is nearly impossible to determine what patterns will reemerge and what new patterns will stick, but many of the shifts we saw in 2020 were likely underway before the pandemic accelerated. We can expect continued reliance on remote work, more pressure on traditional retail, altered supply chains, renewed emphasis on training and heavier dependence on technology and robotics."
