To kick off the new year, the American Supply Association, in conjunction with its Industrial Piping Division that comprises the industry’s leading industrial PVF distributors, manufacturers, master distributors and reps, has launched the ASA Commodities Twitter feed @ASA_Commodities

This new Twitter feed will contain the latest in commodities pricing, trends, news and more — all information of great interest to ASA member companies. Make sure to follow this new Twitter handle, and please share it with colleagues and other interested ASA-member parties.

Also as part of an expanded IPD education-focused offering, ASA’s Mike Miazga recently interviewed Mechanical Contractors Association of America CEO Tim Brink, who took time to answer questions from ASA IPD members, such as the impact the pandemic had on expectations of mechanical contractors or the way they are doing business now; are there technology solutions he/MCAA members would like to see suppliers and distributors have to make doing business easier with them; where can a distributor add value in regards to fully coordinated drawings and models; and what is MCAA’s industry outlook for 2021.

That interview, part of the ASA Town Hall Interview Series, is available to ASA members through the MyASA portal at www.asa.net
