• Rheem named Chris Peel president and CEO of Rheem Mfg. Co., while JR Jones was named executive chairman of the board of Rheem Mfg. Co. Peel had been Rheem’s president and COO for the last 10 years.

• AB&I Foundry promoted Shannon Hooper to national sales manager.

• Birmingham, Alabama-based PVF distributor American Pipe & Supply hired Christopher Sweet as executive vice-president of sales. Sweet previously was at Jemison Metals for 18 years.

• MORSCO announced John Wisniowski has been named vice president, strategic sourcing and supplier relations for the company’s plumbing and HVAC divisions. He replaces Mark Kirby, who was named president of ATCO Flex 
  July 20.

• Uponor North America named John Reutter vice president of finance.

• Tribal Manufacturing hired Mark Duford as national sales manager for its wholesale-direct program.

• HARDI promoted Chris DeBoer to director of marketing and sales and hired Elizabeth Reed as an administrative assistant.

• Houston-based Ron Henson Manufacturers Representatives and Dallas-based RRR Industrial Sales jointly announced they have entered into a definitive agreement to merge the two companies, subject to customary closing conditions.

• Taco Comfort Solutions donated more than $32,000 to Folds of Honor Foundation at the recent Eastern Energy Expo. Folds of Honor is a nonprofit that provides scholarships to children and spouses of disabled veterans of those killed in action.

• David Weekley Homes awarded honors to a number of PHCP manufacturers.
