F.W. Webb announces new partnership

August 31, 2017

F.W. Webb Co.’s Alliance Environmental Group entered into a strategic partnership with the National Response Corp., a global environmental, industrial and emergency response solutions company.

With the acquisition of Alliance Environmental Group last fall, F.W. Webb began offering a broad range of environmental testing, remediation and consulting services to commercial, institutional and industrial customers.

“The NRC strategic alliance broadens the scope of the F.W. Webb Company’s Alliance Environmental Group to provide turnkey environmental solutions,” said Felix Perriello, president of Alliance Environmental Group. “With the expertise and global reach of NRC, Alliance Environmental Group now has the capacity to respond quickly and effectively to customers’ environmental emergencies and hazardous spills anywhere in the U.S.”

Alliance Environmental Group is staffed by highly experienced environmental scientists, engineers and technicians. The team brings vitally important environmental services to sensitive industries and customers, such as: Construction; commercial property owners and brokers; power/energy production  and distribution; pulp/paper processing; municipalities; food/beverage production; labs and Medical facilities; manufacturing and electroplating; chemical production, use and handling; and pharmaceutical and life sciences

In addition to addressing unexpected environmental emergencies, Alliance Environmental Group handles planned needs pertaining to land use, construction, expansion, maintenance, operations, compliance reporting, regular audits, etc. Among a wide-range of services offered are the following: Air-quality testing, remediation and compliance; environmental due diligence; hazardous materials management, including disposal; leaks and spills; permitting, planning and compliance; professional engineering services; storm water and waste water management; and sustainability and optimization programs.

In other F.W. Webb news, Armstrong International  named the F.W. Webb Process Controls Division its manufacturers representative for steam, condensate, hot water and heat transfer products in the Northeast.

Under an agreement announced today by both companies, F.W. Webb Co., through its Process Controls Division, will serve as representative for all Armstrong thermal product lines, except for humidification. The agreement covers all six New England states, Upstate New York and six counties in Pennsylvania.

“The enhanced technical capability and systems expertise of the Process Controls Division complements the Armstrong product line and bolsters our solutions approach to solving customer problems,” said Tom Henry, Armstrong’s corporate director of global sales. “F.W. Webb and Armstrong are two multi-generational American companies that share the same values and long-term customer focus. We are delighted to appoint the Process Controls Division as our exclusive representative. ”

“To fully execute our expanded responsibilities for Armstrong thermal products, the Process Controls Division is creating a dedicated team within the division, called the Thermal Solutions Group,” said Corey Post, general manager, F.W. Webb Process Controls Division. “We are committing resources and expertise to Armstrong’s exceptional thermal products line to meet customer needs.”

The F.W. Webb Process Controls Division provides essential products and services for engineered and process systems across many industries and customer types, including manufacturing, food/beverage production, power/energy producers, paper/pulp processors, and medical facilities. Key products include: actuated, control and safety relief valves; flow meters; overpressure protection devices; instrumentation; automation controls and systems; and engineered systems. A full array of services –

e.g., calibration, testing, diagnostic surveying, and preventive maintenance – enhance the Division’s quality product lines.

“Combining the Armstrong thermal offering with complementary products and components from our other key manufacturers gives customers access to a complete thermal solution,” Post said. “Backed by highly trained Webb technicians, engineers and application specialists, our solutions-based approach provides customers the correct products and services for their unique and critical process needs.”
