Plastic Services and Products Inc., a
division of PMC Global, was purchased by a private investment trust July 1 and
will now operate under the name of Plastic Services and Products LLC.

Steel (NLMK), the leading Russian steel producer, has signed a definitive
agreement to acquire U.S. steel pipe and tube manufacturer John Maneely Co.
(JMC) from a shareholder group including global private equity firm The Carlyle
Group and the Zekelman family for $3.53 billion, acquiring the company on a
debt-free, cash-free basis.
The
U.S. Dept. of Commerce (DOC) issued a preliminary determination on August 28
that Chinese imports of welded austenitic stainless steel pressure pipe were
dumped at a margin of 22.03%.
