Six top executives from Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) member companies have been named to the association’s Strategic Advisory Council.

The actions will prioritize the creation of much-needed residential housing that is affordable, energy-efficient, greenhouse gas-reducing, and near transit and good jobs. 

Including contributions from all of PMI’s 37 members, the report highlights their achievements relating to water efficiency, sanitation, hand hygiene, sustainability, green building and more. 

If there’s one thing Americans are known for it’s their national pride, and that includes products manufactured and made in the United States.

The report’s three main stories cover how PMI member companies are creating opportunities through their responses to challenges relating to sustainability and waste reduction, supply chain and workplace and labor.

There are 638,583 companies that manufacture product right here in the United States, according to IBISWorld. U.S. manufacturing is important for a multitude of reasons; job growth, U.S. economic growth, product transparency and more.

The IMARK Plumbing preferred suppliers listed below were recognized based on the results of a member ranking process, which was determined by the suppliers’ level of involvement in the following areas: IMARK marketing, communications, and training programs, IMARK program execution and the support of IMARK members. Awards were given within each of the following categories, Marketing, Merchandising, Product and Promotion. 

Several Plumbing Manufacturers International (PMI) members and PMI’s federal government affairs consultant will address the industry’s most urgent water and regulatory issues at the 2022 Emerging Water Technology Symposium (EWTS). The event will take place from May 11-12, in San Antonio, Texas. Early bird registration runs to March 15.
