Long Beach, Calif.-based industrial PVF supplier Columbia Specialty Co., announced the expansion of its San Diego location into a larger, improved space.

After opening the original location in San Diego two years ago, the company noted it is seeing a return on its investment with the expansion of the San Diego branch to a larger, centrally located 17,800-sq.-ft. building.

San Diego Branch Manager Tom Murphy worked to ensure the success of the branch and to continue the expansion of Columbia Specialty in the San Diego market, the company explained. The new location features a will-call counter, a central location and is three times the size of the original location.

“This new, larger facility is a direct response to the overwhelming support of our company from contractors and PVF customers in the San Diego market,” Columbia Specialty President Mike Taylor said. “Our Trade St. location puts us in the middle of the action with our customers and vendors, and will improve our ability to provide outstanding service. We expect to create a new will-call dimension that was not possible with our facility in El Cajon. I’m excited about the benefits this facility will bring to the company and to our valued customers.”
