The freezeless hydrant automatically drains when shut off — even with a hose attached. Hydrants are backflow-protected with an ASSE 1052 double-check backflow preventer that is field-testable. The hydrant is easy to repair — all servicing can be made from the top of the unit without removing the hydrant.
