The recently formed Hajoca Corp. Northeast Division hosted its bi-annual vendor summit at The Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pa.
The summit, which brought together vendors, Hajoca profit center managers and management trainees, is designed to grow relationships and improve business practices and is the first of its kind for Hajoca’s Northeast Division. More than 120 industry professionals representing 20 vendors and the division’s 61 Hajoca locations participated in the event.
Hajoca Northeast Division Manager Jock Castoldi, Northeast Region Manager Paul Weinstein and Director of Vendor Relations Roy Pitts hosted the summit meeting. Throughout the week, vendor representatives and Hajoca profit center managers participated in 45-minute roundtable discussions. A variety of social outings (golf, trap shooting and biking) also were held.
“The event was a terrific gathering of vendors and Hajoca personnel in an environment that allowed us to conduct candid discussions around opportunities and challenges in the market, paired with social opportunities to network,” said Matt McLaughlin, Hajoca account manager for Rheem.
To continue to foster the relationships, communication, and momentum built at the summit, organizers plan to host a similar meeting in 2016.
