M&G Group CEO Wim Straver recently appointed Brooks Sherman as president and CEO of M&G DuraVent. Sherman will succeed Stephen Eberhard after Eberhard’s retirement May 31.
“Brooks is the ideal individual for this position,” said Straver. “He will further advance our position in the industry and accelerate our offering on all platforms.”
Sherman has a combination of 17 years in the hearth/HVAC and plumbing industries. Most recently he has served as CEO and chairman of Integrated Security Systems, a provider of safety protection products in Carrollton, Texas, for the past three years. Prior to that position he was president and CEO of Selkirk, the venting and air distribution manufacturer headed out of Richardson, Texas. He also served as the VP/CFO of Eljer Industries, at the time a manufacturer specializing in plumbing and HVAC products.
