Nearly 700 attendees representing 92 distributors and 162 vendors met in Dallas at the April meeting.

Gradual economic improvement was reported by Morris Cregger, principal at Cregger Co. (Columbia, SC) and president of buying group WIT & Co. Among those WIT honored: Goodin Co. (Minneapolis), 2010 Purchasing Award; a Vendor Service Award to ThermaSol; Supply House Times’ 2010 Wholesaler of the Year Rampart Supply (Colorado Springs, CO); Plumbing Distributors Inc. (PDI) of Lawrenceville, GA, a Supply House Times’ 2010 Showroom of the Year; plus 26 distributors that achieved sales growth of $1 million or more in 2010, and the Top 20 volume generators (including Cregger, PDI and Rampart).

New members Colt Plumbing Specialties (Mechanicsburg, PA); MWI Plumbing Wholesale (Oceanside, CA); and Hydrologic Distribution Co. (Pinellas Park, FL) were welcomed. Former Castle Supply owners Joe White and Bob Cardwell lead Hydrologic with Chris Lynch.
