Refrigeration Distributors International’s (HARDI) recent TRENDS report showed North American HVACR
median distributor sales for the month of August 2010 were up more than 15%
from last year making it the sixth consecutive month in which overall
distributor sales were up from 2009. For the first time this year the running 12-month
sales were in the black, albeit slightly.
regions outperformed the same month last year, and two regions’ August growth
exceeded 20%. Canada
continued its strong run and maintains in the top spot among all HARDI
reported inventory increases while also reporting the fifth consecutive month
of decreasing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
