Rod Snider, 83, co-founder of manufacturers rep firm Snider Inc., Charlotte, NC, died April 28. He joined Imperial Eastman in 1952, then moved to Elkhart Products in 1977, rising to vice president - sales/general sales manager before taking early retirement in 1989, when he and his youngest son, Mark, founded Snider Inc. He also served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
