Cregger Co. (West Columbia, SC) acquired the
assets of the 20,000-sq.-ft. Lexington, KY, branch of Kenny Pipe & Supply
in February. Also, the wholesaler opened a 17,000-sq.-ft. branch in Brunswick,
GA, and relocated both its Charlotte, NC, and Greenville, SC, branches into
larger facilities. The Charlotte branch was moved downtown and the Greenville
branch was moved into Simpsonville, SC. Both are now 30,000 sq.
ft.
The wholesaler noted that the larger facilities will accommodate its move into
HVAC equipment and supplies, in addition to plumbing.
Cregger Co. is also completing construction of its fifth Design On Tap offsite
decorative plumbing showroom. A grand opening for the new 3,800-sq.-ft. Greenville,
SC, showroom is planned for late April.
