Contractor Ron Smith received the 2009 Tom McCart Consultant of the Year Award for the Plumbing and HVAC trades from the Service Roundtable, a private contractor group that serves the HVAC and plumbing industries.

“Throughout his career, he’s freely shared his knowledge and mentored countless others,” said Matt Michel, Service Roundtable CEO. 

Michel noted that Smith brought Tom McCart into the industry, and McCart became the first residential retail salesperson to achieve $1 million while working for Smith at Modern Air in Florida.
