The 2007 VAI User Conference, held Nov. 5-7, 2007, at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn in Orlando, FL, featured the release of an update to its S2K software with 3.7.6, and revealed plans to release S2K 5.0 next year. New features have been built into 3.7.6, including streamlined distribution capabilities, improved manufacturing functions and retail Point-of-Sale advances. In addition, keynote speaker Lee Cockerell (pictured), executive vice president of Resort Operations for The Walt Disney Co., shared insights from his 16-year career with Disney.
