SFA Saniflo announced that Johan Bouwer retired as head of the company’s Canadian operations, effective July 31. Bouwer launched Sanitary For All Ltd. in Toronto in December 1987 and served as president of Saniflo in Canada since that time. He held the same post in the United States from 1998 until 2006. In January 2004, Bouwer changed the name of the company from Sanitary For All to the current SFA Saniflo. During his 20 years with the company Bouwer was instrumental in obtaining approvals for the line of macerating toilet and grey water systems from various code bodies in both Canada and the United States. He also helped develop the ANSI standard for macerating systems in the mid-1990s. Bouwer will continue to work as a consultant at Euro Sales Inc. (www.eurosalesinc.com).
