The Kohler Co. board of directors has elected David Kohler
executive vice president of Kohler Co., a corporate officer responsible for the
company’s Kitchen & Bath Group and Technical Services, effective May 1.
President of the Kitchen & Bath Group since 1999, David
Kohler reports to Herbert V. Kohler, Jr., chairman, CEO and president of Kohler
Co.
In announcing David Kohler’s new role as executive vice
president, Herb Kohler said David will be responsible for developing global
business strategies, ensuring that each of the sectors and businesses in the
Kitchen & Bath Group are maintained at the leading edge of their
industries. Within Technical Services, David will assure the support of
operations, information technology development, and procurement and
architectural requirements throughout the global corporation.
Kohler has served as president-Kitchen & Bath Group
since 1999, guiding its portfolio of businesses to significant global
expansion, while strengthening its leadership in design and technology as the
world’s premier full-line manufacturer of kitchen and bath products.
He was elected to the Kohler Co. board of directors in
1999 and also serves on the boards of both Interface Inc., headquartered in
Atlanta, GA, and International de Cerámica S.A.B. de C.V., headquartered in
Chihuahua, Mexico.
