Oct. 10, 2007 - HARDI Hosts Annual Fall Conference
October 10, 2007
The annual fall conference of HARDI (Heating, Air-conditioning, Refrigeration Distributors International), held Oct. 6-9 at the new Marriott World Hotel in Orlando, FL, drew about 900 attendees. Among the speakers were:
Geurts
Frans Geurts, director general of FEST (Federation of the Sanitary and Heating (Wholesale) Trade - a European counterpart to HARDI), who spoke of cooperative alliances with the North American organization, and
Fein
Adam J. Fein, founder and president of Pembroke Consulting, who discussed macro trends (such as private label branding) that wholesalers should consider to improve their profitability.
Jim Wheeler, writer, consultant and monthly HVAC/R columnist in Supply House Times, attended HARDI.
