ECR Technologies said the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released an Environmental Technology Verification report confirming 400% efficiency of its EarthLinked® Heat Pump Water Heating System. To achieve this, 75% of the energy delivered by the EarthLinked system to the holding tank is renewable energy. The hybrid system combines a high efficiency ground-source heat pump with a standard commercial water heater tank.
