Powers Fasteners appointed Jacob Olsen, P.E., vice president of research & development and head of the new engineering research and testing laboratory at the company’s world headquarters in Brewster, NY. Olsen joined Powers in 2005 as director of product development after nearly five years as staff engineer with CEL Consulting, a materials testing and consulting firm in Oakland, CA.
