Thermadyne Industries announced that Paul Minter will head its new business unit that will focus on its TurboTorch line of air-fuel and oxy-fuel products. Also, Minter has been named vice president and general manager of TurboTorch. He had been the leader of Thermadyne’s Specialty Markets group. The creation of a separate operating unit results from TurboTorch’s desire to increase focus on the plumbing and HVAC market.
