Ferguson Appoints Vice Presidents, Directors

January 3, 2005
The following appointments were announced at Ferguson's annual meeting in November:

Jerry Allen to vice president/heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC). From 1995 to 2003 Allen was president/general manager of Lyon Conklin, Baltimore, and from 1983 to 1995 he was president/general manager of Peebles Supply in Newport News, Va.

Rob Braig to vice president/ pipe, valves and fittings (PVF)/Industrial Business Group. He joined Ferguson in 1978 as a trainee and most recently had been regional manager/commercial industrial at corporate headquarters.

Terry Hall, vice president/general counsel. Hall has served as both corporate and general counsel and secretary since 1986.

Carol Warner, vice president/ corporate travel, events, and meeting planning. She joined the company in 1978 and had been director of corporate travel since 2003.

George R. Connolly, director of marketing/residential products. Connolly was appointed corporate marketing manager in 2004. He joined Ferguson in 1981 as a management trainee.

Tom Hampton, director of sourcing/indirect spend. Hampton, who joined the company in 1984, has worked at headquarters as sourcing manager for Tools/ Safety/ MRO/Indirect since 1997.

Jake Schlicher, director/Residential Business Group. Schlicher joined Ferguson in 1999 through the acquisition of L&H Supply. In 2000 he was appointed business unit manager for residential and became business manager for the Residential Business Group in 2002.

Walt Rodgers, director of HVAC sales. With Ferguson since 1984, Rodgers has served as general manager/HVAC and more recently, corporate manager/ HVAC.

In other news, Ferguson promoted John Stegeman to senior vice president/ Waterworks. Stegeman, who joined the company in 1985, had been vice president/Waterworks since 2003. He is the recipient of three President's Awards for Achievement for the years 1998-1999, 1999-2000, and 2000-2001.
