Stride Tool celebrated its 25th anniversary in April. Lori Nuthrup, board chairman, founded the company in 1980. Its first acquisition was Milbar, a tool manufacturer based in Ohio, and it then acquired Imperial, which recently celebrated its 100th anniversary, in 1996.
