NIBCO, provider of flow-control products, and VICTAULIC, producer of grooved- and plain-end mechanical pipe joining systems, have entered into a joint venture to form NVent LLC. NVent was designed to offer faster, more profitable small-diameter pipe joining solutions for the North American market.
NVent has introduced PermaLynx, a permanent push-to-connect system for 1/2-inch to 2-inch piping, which the company said is the first such product in the industry. NVent also said it is the first company to offer this system in North America.
PermaLynx was honored as “best overall product” in the New Product Showcase at ISH North America in Boston in October. The showcase featured more than 100 individual products. The NVent PermaLynx system also won in the “Plumbing & Piping” category.
