Plumbers Supply Co., a plumbing, heating, and piping wholesaler headquartered in Louisville, Ky., recently opened a 40,000-sq.-ft. residential and light commercial plumbing facility in the Bluegrass Industrial Park at 2102 Production Drive. The wholesaler is adding four delivery trucks to its fleet to service the new facility. Plumbers Supply said it plans to expand its product offerings to include York HVAC equipment and supplies sometime in 2005. The wholesaler operates eight branches covering a three-state region. The Plumbers Supply downtown facility at 1000 E. Main St. in Louisville hired the management team and key employees from the former Builders Plumbing Supply in Bluegrass Park, including (left to right in photo below) Barry Faith, Troy McCool and Dean Samsel, to start up the new facility for Plumbers Supply. Samsel helped start Builders Plumbing Supply's Louisville branch 16 years ago, serving in various capacities including branch manager and branch sales manager. Faith was a licensed plumber for 17 years before he became the branch manager of Builders Supply. Builders Supply was acquired by a national supplier in January 2004.
