CMP Corp., a manufacturer of compressor replacement parts, moved into its newly reconstructed building seven months after a tornado destroyed its corporate offices in Oklahoma City on May 8, 2003. The company says the new facility, which is on the same site as the old building, boasts improved, faster manufacturing equipment and inventory levels restored to its pre-storm levels. It also has a stronger, more secure storm shelter than the room that originally saved its employees. Shown pictured is the facility two weeks after the storm hit (top) and the new 120,000 sq.-ft. facility.
