Ferguson (Newport News, Va.) appointed Jimmy Cross to vice president/ southern region. Cross was trainee of the year in 1982-83 and also has held various positions, the most recent being president/general manager of the Orlando, Fla. branch.

Also, Brian Dombrowicki was named president/general manager for its Madison, Wis., location.

He joined the company as a trainee in 1996 and most recently was manager of the LaCrosse, Wis., satellite.
