Unity Networking and WIT & Co., a member-owned co-op of 70 independent PHCP and electrical wholesalers, recently announced a strategic alliance to use Unity's surplus Web marketplace,WholesalerDirect.com.

The companies will work together to provide WIT's members with certain services to sell their surplus to the trade and one another through WholesalerDirect.

"WIT's member wholesalers provide buyers on WholesalerDirect with significant breadth and depth of product," said Adam Berger, Unity's CEO.

Unity has also partnered with Eclipse and Mincron Software Systems to provide wholesalers using the Eclipse DMS software and Mincron's MSS/HD software a method of automatically listing their surplus inventory on WholesalerDirect.

Testing has begun already on the Eclipse module at several wholesaler locations, and Unity will make it available to other Eclipse users on a selected basis in November. Unity is selecting wholesalers to test the Mincron module and will make it available when testing is completed.

Eclipse and Mincron users interested in the update modules should contact Toby Tarnow, Unity's president and COO, at toby@wholesalerdirect.com or 603/465-9400, ext. 202.
