Briggs Plumbing Products named Greg Carlson president/ CEO effective April 1. He joined Briggs in January as executive vice president/ business development. Prior to that, Carlson spent 14 years in executive management at the ACCO Brands division of Fortune Brands and 10 years with Xerox Corp. He succeeds Dan Umbs, who resigned to pursue personal interests in the Northeast/Pennsylvania area.
