The Construction Writers Association gave its most prestigious writing award to Supply House Times editor Jim Olsztynski.

The Construction Writers Association (CWA) gave its most prestigious writing award to Supply House Times editor Jim Olsztynski. The 2002 "Ned Godfrey Award" was based on a body of work encompassing different writing styles.

Olsztynski's submission included this magazine's March 2001 cover article, "Why Wholesalers Still Matter," along with articles published in Plumbing & Mechanical magazine. Commenting on the Supply House Times article, the judges cited the author's "diversity of issue, mastery of the subject matter and understanding of what drives the industry."

Olsztynski is a multiple past winner of CWA awards for editorial writing and newsletter publishing. Founded in 1958, CWA is a non-profit international organization for journalists, writers, publicists and marketing communicators covering the construction industry.
