The Management Information Systems Group is offering free EDI (electronic data interchange) training courses for anyone attending the user technology conference. The conference, EC Directions 2002, will be held May 5-7 in San Antonio.
The EDI 101 training course will cover basic topics such as setting up EDI accounts, X12 standards, trading partner relationships and translation software. The advanced 201 course will cover adding new EDI documents, expanding your trading community, Internet EDI, Web-based EDI and keeping up with new EDI standards.
