Deputy Mayor Jane Henegar presented Delta Faucet Co. with the City of Indianapolis' Outstanding Service Award, in recognition of the company's long-time support for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis, at a dedication ceremony in October marking the construction of Delta's third Habitat home. Delta President John C. Wills accepted the award and thanked his employees for volunteering to build the house, one of 17 constructed this fall in northeast Indianapolis.

Under the supervision of local homebuilding firm Dura Builders, about 220 volunteers from Delta helped build the five-bedroom, two-story Habitat House over a period of four weekends this fall. As it has done for the past seven years, Delta donated bathroom and kitchen faucets and tub/shower systems to all of the homes constructed.

Delta, a division of Masco, manufactures residential and commercial faucets.
