Ray A. Kennedy has been named senior vice president/sales and marketing at Delta Faucet Co. He will continue to oversee product development and also will take over customer service and credit functions for the company. Kennedy has been with Delta since 1993.

Previously, he served as retail marketing manager, business unit manager, vice president of the Delta business unit and, most recently, vice president of marketing. While head of marketing, he directed and executed the overall Delta brand positioning, in addition to managing all marketing and product development functions. Ray A. Kennedy should not be confused with Ray F. Kennedy, president/COO of Masco Corp.

Dana Severs has been promoted to senior vice president/sales, with four vice presidents reporting to him. Severs will report to Kennedy. Severs has worked for Delta 24 years, most recently as vice president/sales.

In a related move, John Dartt will become vice president/trade sales, for all domestic trade business. Dartt is a 15-year industry veteran, with eight of those spent at Delta. Also, Stan Artman, formerly a regional sales manager, will become director of trade sales for the eastern region and John Edwards, who also had been a regional sales manager, will become director of trade sales for the western part of the country. Both will report to Dartt.

In other changes, Rick Burkman, director of finance, was named vice president, finance/controller. He succeeds Steve McFarland, who was promoted to president of Alsons Corp., which, like Delta, is a Masco company. In addition to his financial duties as controller, Burkman will also be responsible for Information Services at Delta and for Masco Support Services, a printing/fulfillment company within the parent corporation. He has spent the past four years as director of finance at Delta.

Also, Kevin Kennedy has been named director of e-business to spearhead Delta Faucet's efforts to grow its e-business capabilities. He had been manager of e-business.

These personnel moves are intended to further streamline the organization, enhance customer service and take advantage of the strengths of key managers, according to John C. Wills, president, Delta Faucet Co. The company manufactures faucets under the brand names, Delta, Delta Select and Peerless.
