TruServ Corp., (Chicago) the hardware and home improvement cooperative, elected Pamela Forbes Lieberman CEO. She joined the co-op in March as CFO and assumed the additional position of COO in July. Also, David A. Shadduck has been named senior vice president/CFO. The co-op will operate without a COO. In other news, TruServ sold its Canadian assets, including a regional distribution center in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to its Canadian members and agreed to license the True Value brand name to the co-op's Canadian members. The Canadian cooperative will retain its membership in the American co-op and be an international member of TruServ.
