Charlotte Pipe and Foundry has formed a new Technical Services Department to provide education and technical support to engineers and contractors on the application and installation of all Charlotte Pipe products. The group also will handle product and installation inquiries, provide specifiers with tools and literature, work with codes and standards bodies and conduct product training for customers. The following individuals comprise the Technical Services Department:

Bill Morris is technical services manager. Bill has more than 20 years of experience in the plumbing industry and is active in a number of codes and standards bodies.

Dewey Manus is a master plumber and technical advisor for Charlotte Pipe. He has more than 40 years of experience in the plumbing industry.

Vic Hines has held sales, management and technical positions in the PVF industry since 1976, first as a distributor and manufacturers rep and later with a manufacturer.

Art Lynn was with Spears Mfg. Co. for the last 18 years, first as a factory salesman, then a technical services representative, before joining Charlotte Pipe in October 2005.

Kirk Thompson joined Charlotte Pipe with the acquisition of Thompson Plastics, which he served as president. He joined the Technical Services Department to assist in the development of new products for both the plastics and cast iron divisions.
