Sloan launches enhanced Sink Configurator featuring AI Guided Design
The latest Sink Configurator aims to help streamline the specification process.

Sloan has launched its enhanced Sink Configurator, now featuring an AI-powered Guided Design tool. The latest Sink Configurator aims to help streamline the specification process, delivering intelligent, market-informed recommendations that enable users to create sophisticated sink systems with speed and precision.
“Sloan’s Sink Configurator with AI-powered Guided Design offers users greater simplicity, speed, and confidence,” said Emerson Vogel, Sloan product line manager for sinks and hand dryers. “The objective is to advance users 80% of the way toward a finalized sink design in approximately 20% of the time by responding to just a few questions about their project.”
The new AI Guided Design feature aims to address the complexities of commercial restroom specification by simplifying the initial design phases. Instead of navigating nearly 25 manual selections from the start, users can now respond to a few strategic questions about their project's venue, traffic levels and design priorities. The system then intelligently generates tailored sink configurations based on current design trends, proven fixture pairings and comprehensive data from similar projects.
This enhancement provides a foundation for customization, enabling multiple configurations to be viewed side-by-side for streamlined comparison. The tool accelerates submittal package development and eliminates guesswork by delivering recommendations based on real-world applications.
The AI Guided Design serves a range of professionals, including first-time users who may be uncertain where to begin, as well as architects and designers who require rapid concept visuals. It aims to empower all users to progress from concept to near-final design efficiently.
