BLUE HAWK and OCTO PURCHASING GROUP announce strategic alliance

BLUE HAWK and OCTO PURCHASING GROUP announced a strategic alliance aimed at strengthening the independent HVACR supply distribution channel. This partnership will create better opportunities for members and encourage more collaborative relationships with suppliers.

By combining forces, BLUE HAWK and OCTO will focus on creating a larger, more integrated network that better serves the needs of independent distributors while enhancing their value to suppliers. This alliance represents a proactive step to ensure the long-term success of the independent distribution model across North America.

A unified vision for partnership

  • Elevate the independent channel: This collaboration unites two leading groups of independent distributors, amplifying their ability to work constructively with suppliers to advance the entire industry. 
  • Shared culture and values: As 100% member-driven organizations that operate with full transparency, BLUE HAWK and OCTO share a strong cultural alignment. This foundation ensures the collaboration remains focused on member success, integrity, and long-term sustainability. 
  • Drive shared success: Through the harmonization of purchasing and marketing efforts, the alliance aims to create new value for all partners—members and suppliers alike—contributing to mutual growth and innovation.
