The Rebel Applied R32 Heat Pump is a 30-52 ton applied rooftop air source heat pump unit that provides up to 75% more heating capacity at 0° F than today’s products while achieving high heating and cooling efficiencies, the company says. Featuring two capacity ranges, the standard output is designed with intent for warmer climates or jobs with less heat demand and features more compact footprint, while the high output is designed for increased capacity at low ambient. The heat pump’s improved capacity allowing units to achieve higher average heating COP offers an electrified solution that greatly reduces — and can potentially eliminate — the need to burn fossil fuels while reducing energy demand on local electrical grids and saving utility costs for building operators.
