WQA’s popular Commercial Industrial RO Sizing workshop, usually only offered during the annual WQA Convention & Exposition, will be available online this fall. Instructor Peter Cartwright, MWS, PE, will help participants practice calculating multiple variables associated with RO sizing in both large and small breakout sessions using the Zoom platform.

“We’re pleased that we are able to offer this top rated, highly interactive workshop in an online format to a larger audience,” said Tanya Lubner, PhD, WQA’s professional certification and training director.  “Water treatment pros will get full benefit of Peter’s excellent instruction from the safety and comfort of their own offices or homes.”

The workshop will consist of six weekly sessions, 90 minutes each, focusing on worked examples and hands-on practice. Each session will address an aspect of RO system design to meet final system specs that include percentage recovery, permeate quality, feed flow rate, blending, number of RO elements needed, and required pump pressure.

WQA-certified personnel can earn up to 0.15 Continuing Professional Development credits per session when attending live webcasts on Nov. 5, 12, 19, and Dec. 3, 10 and 17.  All sessions start at 11 a.m. EST/10 a.m. CST.

The six-session workshop cost is $369 for WQA’s Core or Premier Members, $449 for E members and $820 for non-members. Information about joining WQA can be found at wqa.org/membership. For more information about the workshop or to register, visit wqa.org/ROSizingWorkshop.
