ASA Central and ASA Northeast scholarship programs kick off
A small sampling of ASA-member Central and Northeast region distributors proudly displaying scholarship kit materials includes: Baltimore, Maryland-based Northeastern Supply, Timonium, Maryland-based Schumacher and Seiler, Sioux Center, Iowa-based Plumbing and Heating Wholesale and Avon, Massachusetts-based Charles D. Sheehy.
The ASA Central and ASA Northeast regions recently kicked off a special scholarship program designed to assist ASA members throughout the region by highlighting to students the exciting opportunities that exist in our members’ companies.
Central and Northeast companies were sent scholarship kits that contain materials to prominently display in member branch locations.
Response to the scholarship kits has been overwhelmingly positive with member companies immediately displaying the kit posters, counter signs and brochures, with many requests coming into ASA headquarters for additional kits and kit materials to display in additional branch locations.
The advisory councils of the Central and Northeast regions have each allocated 3 (three) $3,000 scholarships for the 2020 fall semester to individuals who are or will be engaged in secondary education pursuing a specialty that can be applied to a career within the PHCP & PVF industry.
The 2020 scholarship application deadline is May 15.
